About The Role</b>:</p><p>
As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. You will be at the forefront of daily interactions with cross-functional teams, orchestrating efforts to maintain safety standards while achieving operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a shared shift to guarantee successful launches and sorts, in collaboration with both the Veho team and our valued driver partners.</p><p></p><p><b><br>

Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>
Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.</li><li>
Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.</li><li>
Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.</li><li>
Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check</li><li>
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>

The Enhancement Laborer executes small scale landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape of commercial properties.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Perform plant removal, replanting of lawn, converting lawn areas to planters, or planters to lawn, replace broken sidewalk, lay mow strips, mulch, prune, and plant trees.</li><li>
Serve as backup to interior, landscaping maintenance, gardening, irrigation technology and grounds person job or job function.</li><li>
Remove or plant grass, utilize garden tools including rakes, shovels, picks, etc.</li><li>
Dig trenches and set up cement forms for sidewalk replacement, mow strips, and planters.</li><li>
Utilize pruning and trimming equipment to maintain trees and shrubs.</li><li>
Operate lawn maintenance equipment including a 36&quot; mower, blower, gas powered trimmer, and other power equipment.</li><li>
Water plants, lawns, and gardens.</li><li>
Apply fertilizer in accordance with scheduled use and application standards.</li><li>
Perform plant, weed, trim, and blow activities.</li><li>
Remove materials from overhead racks on truck and transport materials from site to site.</li><li>
Handle tools, dig, cement fish, plant, weed, maintain, and mow.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Education and Experience:</b></p><ul><li>
6 months of commercial landscape experience preferred but not required.</li><li>
Knowledge to identify proper amount of water application and penetration.</li><li>
Current driver license</li><li>
Knowledge to adjust and regulate sprinkler heads, finish cement surfaces, prepare forms for cement pours, and weeding.</li><li>
Experience with cement in preparing for the pour and following finishing procedures.</li><li>
Ability to operate a truck with trailer/gate and ramp for loading, unloading and transport of equipment.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Physical Demands/Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Distance carried - 50 feet maximum.</li><li>
Ability to lift 30-35 lbs. (120 lbs. trees lifted and carried by 4 individuals) a distance of 20 feet for planting.</li><li>
Ability to push or pull grass into rolls requiring force of up to 20 lbs.</li><li>
Ability to push/pull, twist, and turn trees with a force of up to 35 lbs. when planting trees.</li><li>
Be at least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles)</li><li>
Possess strong stamina and have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.</li><li>
Able to safely operate landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers).</li><li>
Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the day and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.</li><li>
