As Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:<ul>

In this position you will be responsible for guest registration, making reservations, and providing guests with information about the hotel and the local area. Work Performed

As a Overnight Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect role for you. 

<ul><li>
Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations in sometimes fast-paced environment
</li><li>Communicate relevant shift information to next shift and direct supervisor</li><li>
Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys and explain the hotel&rsquo;s amenities</li><li>
Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies</li><li>
Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner</li><li>
Explain local amenities and attractions to guests</li><li>
Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest requests</li><li>
Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order</li><li>
 Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures</li><li>
Assist other departments when necessary</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management</li></ul> 


Requirements
<ul><li>
High school education or equivalent experience</li><li>
1 or more full years employment experience in a related position</li><li>
Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location</li><li>
Hours required: Part Time 16-24 hours per week for Overnight; Weekends; Holidays shifts</li><li>
Proficiency in the English language</li><li>
Willingness to learn new technology platforms</li><li>
Ability to stand at front desk for long periods of time</li><li>
Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. guest luggage; limited</li><li>
Ability to work independently</li><li>
Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times</li></ul> 


Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities
<ul><li>
Previous customer facing experience preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of Microsoft suite</li><li>
Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French</li></ul> 


Compensation

$21 Hourly
