BYU Online High School Counselor
The BYU Online High School (BYU OHS) school counselor reports directly to and works closely with the BYU High School Online Learning Education Service Agency (ESA) school counselor (Lead School Counselor). Under the direction of the Lead School Counselor, the BYU OHS school counselor oversees the school&rsquo;s academic advising and counseling, graduation, transcripts and credits, mental health counseling referrals, College and Career Readiness planning, and college application support. Two (2) years&rsquo; experience working with Substance abuse. Preferred.</li><li>
Two (2) years of counseling experience.</li><li>
Ability to work independently.</li><li>
Ability to exercise discretion and use independent judgment in making decisions.</li><li>
Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior.</li><li>
At least twenty-one (21) years of age.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license from employee&rsquo;s state of residence.</li><li>
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.</li></ul>
