<div></div><div>Pay: $80,000-$130,000 based on experience</div>
<div></div><div>As a Hand Therapist with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
</div><ul><li>Review physician&rsquo;s written referral to determine hand therapy treatment required.</li>
<li>Evaluate patients using appropriate tests, measurements, clinical observation, and supplementary information provided by the patient.</li>
<li>Develop individual patient treatment goals and activities based on evaluation of patient data and demographics.</li>
<li>Administer treatment to improve and maintain function and evaluate its effects.</li>
<li>Instruct, motivate, educate, and assist patients to perform various physical activities designed in the treatment plan.</li>
<li>Monitor effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatment to achieve maximum results.</li>
<li>Perform treatment involving application of physical agents, moist or heat packs, and other modalities as needed.</li>
<li>Document treatment, response, and progress results onto chart and transcribes notes as required.</li>
<li>Record treatment charges daily and completes charge tickets in an accurate and timely manner.</li>
<li>Assist in training and orienting of new staff.</li>
<li>Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, Techs and Aides.</li>
<li>All other duties assigned.</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications:</div>
<ul><li>Knowledge of radiology equipment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.</li>
<li>Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of computer programs.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Understand/Perform training on electronic medical records software.</li>
</ul><div>Minimum Qualifications:</div>
<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.</li>
<li>Passed National Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Examination.

This part‑time position offers two consistent weekly shifts supporting Heber Valley Hospital, providing highly specialized care to patients with upper‑extremity injuries and conditions. In addition, the role includes PRN coverage for Park City Hospital, stepping in to support patient demand as volumes increase.</div>
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Demonstrates expertise in evaluation and treatment of upper extremity surgical and non-surgical conditions including splinting.</li><li>
Spends 80% of time in upper extremity specialty care (includes cervical, shoulder, scapula, elbow, wrist and/or hand)</li><li>
