About the role
The Class A CDL Driver will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and Customer sites. This position will consist of operating van trailers hauling containerized waste, i.e. (Drums, Totes, Pallets) and other equipment including vacuum tankers, roll off trailers, and dump trailers. 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Drive commercial vehicles and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials in a safe manner while following all EPA and DOT regulations and meeting scheduled appointment times.</li><li>
Prepare customer manifests specific to the product delivered and obtain customer signatures.</li><li>
Complete accurate electronic Driver Logs daily.</li><li>
Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations.</li><li>
Communicate, verbally and electronically, with dispatch regarding pick-up and delivery instructions.</li><li>
Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.</li><li>
Perform daily pre trip and post trip inspections thoroughly on items such as tires, lights, brakes, air lines, oil, coolant, permit books, etc.</li><li>
Secure cargo prior to and during transit.</li><li>
Ensure and maintain elite standards of all operating equipment including but not limited to: Organized and cleanliness of the inside cab, outside cab, outside tanks, hoses, trays, fittings, and all other ancillary parts.</li><li>
Complete additional assigned duties.</li></ul>
Requirements:<div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED preferred (Reworld provides a fully funded GED Works program).</li><li>
Positive, customer‑focused, team‑oriented mindset.</li><li>
Must be 21 years or older for interstate commercial driving.</li><li>
Valid Class A CDL.</li><li>
Tanker endorsement required; HazMat preferred but not required.</li><li>
Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience.</li><li>
Previous experience labeling, manifesting, or transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste containers is a plus.</li><li>
Clean driving record.</li><li>
Ability to work 10&ndash;12 hour shifts Monday&ndash;Friday plus one weekend per month.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>
Must be responsible, organized, and demonstrate strong safety awareness.</li><li>
Must meet FMCSR 391.15 requirements with no disqualifications.</li><li>

About the role
The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role includes operating vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, dump equipment, and roll off equipment. While prior experience with this equipment is preferred, Reworld provides on the job training for qualified drivers who meet licensing requirements and demonstrate a strong safety mindset.
Sign on bonus: $5000
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Operate assigned equipment safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.</li><li>
Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste while meeting scheduled appointments.</li><li>
Ensure vehicle placarding meets DOT requirements.</li><li>
Maintain required paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.</li><li>
Inspect truck equipment and supplies including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.</li><li>
Secure cargo prior to and during transit.</li><li>
Operate roll off equipment as required by daily route needs.</li><li>
Complete additional assigned duties.</li></ul> 
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Must be 21 years or older due to interstate commercial travel regulations.</li><li>
CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.</li><li>
HazMat endorsement preferred but not required for hire.</li><li>
Minimum two years of commercial driving experience preferred, but drivers with less experience may be considered with strong safety records and willingness to learn.</li><li>
Ability to use a tablet for E Logs.</li><li>
Must abide by all DOT regulations at all times.</li><li>
Clean driving record.</li></ul>

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.</li><li>
Drive and operate a minimum of two types of heavy equipment including but not limited to 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Single Roll-Off Trucks.</li><li>
Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.</li><li>
Prepare Haz-Mat &amp; Non-Haz manifests.</li><li>
Maintain full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, daily ELD logs, timesheets and vehicle inspection reports.</li><li>
Perform simple maintenance and cleaning of response vehicle and assigned truck.</li><li>
Perform various housekeeping and custodial duties as required.</li><li>
Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on uncontrolled stand-by.</li><li>
Work long hours and overtime, including days, nights or weekend shifts.</li><li>
Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.</li><li>
Comply with the Random Drug Testing Program.</li></ul>
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.</li><li>
Current Commercial Driver License, required. Class A preferred.</li><li>
Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.</li><li>
Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, required.</li><li>
