POSITION SUMMARY
Our Medication Technicians (Med Tech &ndash; CNA/HCA) provide compassionate, direct care to our residents, assisting them with medication administration and activities of daily living, in accordance with their personalized medication and treatment plans. You will be part of a team that fosters a supportive and nurturing environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Assist residents with the daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration, as outlined in their individual care plan.</li><li>
Follow documentation protocols and report any changes in resident status.</li><li>
Assist in managing medication inventory and proper storage conditions, and coordinate medication re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies as necessary.</li><li>
Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living to the residents in a team setting as needed.</li><li>
Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing continuous engagement and companionship.</li><li>
Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs.</li><li>

Requirements:

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certifications:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.</li><li>
Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.</li><li>
Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.</li></ul>
Experience, Competencies, and Skills:<ul><li>
At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.</li><li>

Our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) / Health Care Aides (HCA) provide direct resident care under nurse supervision, including vital signs, personal care, mobility support, and observation of resident status. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to follow care plans while supporting resident comfort, dignity, and safety.

Responsibilities

<li>Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes</li>
<li>Review resident service plans daily to determine if changes in the resident&rsquo;s daily care routine have been made on the plan</li>
<li>Inform the RCC or nurse of any changes in the resident&rsquo;s condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident&rsquo;s service plan</li>
<li>Assist resident&rsquo;s with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments, as needed</li>
<li>Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment</li>
<li>Participate in community surveys by authorized government agencies</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines</li>
<li>Effectively communicate necessary resident information to the nurse, RCC and/or the Executive Director</li>

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY::
