Name / Position Title: Inventory Head 
Reports to: Sr. DC Manager

2. JOB PURPOSE / ROLE: 
Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees. 
Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. 
Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. 
Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. 
Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations. 
Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel 
issues. 
Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients. 
Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics. 
Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs. 
Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues 
to upper management. 
Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul><li>Establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting</li></ul>
objectives and maintain its records so that it can be reviewed and accessed by Operations 
Manager and also provide the reports related to cycle count activities. 
<ul><li>Prepare for and perform with the help of operations a quarterly full stock count (wall to wall), and</li></ul>
maintain a goal of 98-100% accuracy. 
<ul><li>Investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as</li></ul>
excesses. 
<ul><li>Audit all operations processes along with paper flow errors and spot the inconsistencies that</li></ul>
affect the accuracy of the inventories. 
<ul><li>Work alongside operation supervisor in creating new item codes and do full stock cataloging.</li><li>Assist operations in preforming warehouse slotting and prepare and enforce replenishment</li></ul>
activities. 
<ul><li>Do random audits on operations documentations to insure tractability of operations.</li><li>(optional) supervise and coordinate the appropriate processing of various purchase requisitions,</li></ul>
receiving reports, purchase orders, inventory requisitions, etc. 
<ul><li>(Optional) Maintain optimum levels of inventory and trigger procurement department for</li></ul>
merchandise replenishment. 
<ul><li>Inspect and give the order for waste disposal.</li><li>Reconcile physical and system stock levels</li><li>Ensure PDT is used for receiving, returns and dispatches</li><li>Audit and report goods are dispatched as per FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) standard</li><li>Spot check for right SKU right slot right quantity right expiry</li><li>Report any types of cases that need to be flagged</li><li>Coach and mentor all team members, especially direct reports for performance and work closely</li></ul>
with them during the various stages of the performance cycle (goal setting, performance
