Personal Care and Hygiene<ul><li>Assist clients with all aspects of personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, oral care, grooming, and dressing/undressing, while respecting their dignity and privacy.</li><li>Support clients with mobility, repositioning in bed, and transferring (e.g., in/out of bed, chair, or wheelchair) using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment.</li><li>Assist with toileting, continence management, and changing of continence aids.</li></ul>B. Health Monitoring and Support<ul><li>Monitor and accurately record vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate) and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or management immediately.</li><li>Assist with the timely and correct administration of oral medication under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and according to the prescribed care plan and company policy.</li><li>Assist clients with prescribed light exercises and rehabilitation activities as directed by a Physiotherapist or other qualified professional.</li><li>Support with the collection of samples (e.g., urine, stool) for testing as required.</li></ul>C. Nutritional Support<ul><li>Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks according to the client&rsquo;s dietary requirements, preferences, and care plan.</li><li>Assist clients with feeding and drinking as necessary, monitoring fluid and nutritional intake.</li></ul>D. Domestic and Environmental Support<ul><li>Perform light housekeeping duties in the client&rsquo;s immediate living area, such as dusting, tidying, and making beds.</li><li>Ensure the client's environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.</li><li>Assist with laundry and ensuring clean linens and clothing are available.</li><li>Run essential errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.</li></ul>E. Emotional and Social Support<ul><li>Provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversation, and offer emotional support to promote the client&rsquo;s mental and social well-being.</li><li>Encourage client independence and participation in social and recreational activities within their capabilities.</li><li>Accompany clients to appointments (e.g., doctor visits, therapy sessions) or outings.</li></ul>F.
