</p><p>A health care law background and knowledge of the administrative adjudication process pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act, Government Code section 11400 et. seq are highly desirable. Experience in medical malpractice litigation, health care fraud, and/or criminal law is highly desirable. Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and tact when interacting with clients, the public, opposing counsel and judges; show strong initiative in improving the work of the office; have strong organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; effective work habits under pressure and scrutiny; an ability to work effectively with all levels of Attorney General staff; and creativity and resourcefulness in solving problems. Knowledge of bargaining unit MOUs, civil service laws and rules, and disciplinary process are highly desirable.
