Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Health &amp; Safety (EH&amp;S) Manager to lead, develop, and continuously improve our environmental, health, safety, and Worker&rsquo;s Compensation programs across all locations and job sites.
This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening team member engagement, and advancing our EHS management systems. The Health &amp; Safety Manager plays a critical leadership role in protecting our team members, customers, and the environment while fostering a strong, proactive safety culture.

What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
Lead &amp; Strengthen Safety Programs<ul><li>
Manage and enhance the Company's Health &amp; Safety programs to meet and exceed federal, state, and local regulatory requirements including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), RCRA, and transportation standards.</li><li>
Develop and implement safety training programs for all U.S.-based team members.</li><li>
Conduct New Team Member Safety Orientation and ongoing safety education initiatives.</li><li>
Implement behavioral-based safety programs to strengthen safety awareness and culture.</li></ul>
Ensure Regulatory &amp; Environmental Compliance<ul><li>
Oversee compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, EPA, DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations and reporting requirements.</li><li>
Maintain environmental compliance across multiple job sites and office locations.</li><li>
Conduct safety audits, driver audits, inspections, and risk assessments.</li><li>
Implement corrective actions identified through audits and inspections.</li><li>
Maintain accurate safety, environmental, and incident records.</li></ul>
Drive Incident Prevention &amp; Investigation<ul><li>
Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses to determine root causes.</li><li>
Develop and implement preventive and corrective strategies.</li><li>
Monitor unsafe driving behaviors using telematics systems such as Motive and Lytx DriveCam.</li><li>
Lead initiatives to improve fleet safety performance and reduce risk.</li></ul>
Manage Worker&rsquo;s Compensation &amp; Injury Management<ul><li>
Oversee Worker&rsquo;s Compensation and OSHA programs.</li><li>
Support injured team members, supervisors, HR, and Labor regarding benefits, return-to-work plans, restricted duty, and medical coordination.</li><li>
Coordinate ergonomic evaluations and implement corrective measures.</li></ul>
Collaborate &amp; Influence<ul><li>
Partner with corporate teams to implement consistent safety standards and best practices.</li><li>
Provide EHS expertise across operations, offices, and field environments.</li><li>
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Lead safety initiatives in a matrixed environment while keeping key stakeholders informed.</li></ul> 
What You Must Have
Education &amp; Certifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Safety Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline (preferred).</li><li>
Professional EHS Certification (CSP, ASP, or equivalent) &mdash; required.</li><li>
5&ndash;7 years of progressive EHS experience.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, FMCSA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Experience implementing EHS Management Systems such as OHSAS ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.</li><li>
Experience managing Worker&rsquo;s Compensation programs and regulatory reporting.</li><li>
