As a vital member of the Health and Wellness team, the Coordinator will display caring, professionalism, excellent communication skills and sensitivity as you work closely with other staff to support the health and address the medical needs of our clients. This position is full-time (Monday - Friday) and the rate of pay is $27/hour. Bonus of up to $1,000 distributed over the course of the first year of employment.
As a Cedars Health &amp; Wellness Coordinator you will:<ul><li>
Maintain medical database and perform data entry.</li><li>
Email health and behavior notes to the appropriate staff on weekly basis.</li><li>
Prepare detailed files in advance of appointments.</li><li>
Schedule appointments as required.</li><li>
Transport residents to doctor and other healthcare appointments.</li><li>
Respond to drop-in health concerns, injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness of the Health and Wellness offices and area.</li><li>
Administer medication.</li><li>
Triage phone calls concerning residents' medical concerns, and contact appropriate professionals.</li><li>
Communicate with pharmacies and medical offices to ensure medication accuracy and documentation.</li>
Communicate with family members, Cedars staff, and health care professionals.

Requirements

<li>Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is beneficial.</li>

<li>Must communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>A clean California driver's license, a minimum of three years of driving, and a willingness to drive a passenger van.
