Verify new associate clinical access and oversee all learning management modules and assignments</li><li>
Lead workflow documentation courses to teach nursing curriculum and documentation in the HER</li><li>
Oversee curriculum development and planning for the Nurse Residency Transition to Practice program for the new graduate nurse.
</li><li>Facilitate Transition to Practice Population Specialty Pathways</li><li>
Manage and coordinate Quality Improvement Projects within the Transition to Practice cohort</li><li>
Develop, plan, and facilitate Charge Nurse course for staff development</li><li>
Develop, plan, and facilitate Preceptor Pathways for staff development</li><li>
Coordinate and perform new associate rounding including skills validations for new nursing associates</li><li>
Complete Unit specific rounding to address - just in time - education needs</li><li>
Schedule and lead mock medical emergencies through simulation on units with multidisciplinary healthcare disciplines to provide immediate staff feedback and learning opportunities</li><li>
Develop downtime documents and network communication tools for front-line staff and ancillary departments</li><li>
Oversee Agency Nurse Onboarding and Clinical Orientation Tools</li><li>
Lead Nursing Student Clinical Orientation, Onboarding, Training, and Fit Testing</li><li>
Simulation (High-Fidelity and Basic) development for hands-on training and skill validation</li><li>
Serve as a nursing leader and mentor throughout orientation, onboarding, and continued education</li><li>
Provide coaching and feedback in a timely manner to nursing associates and nurse leaders</li><li>
Develop and lead system wide education competencies for all nursing associates, while meeting regulatory requirements</li><li>
Collaborate with all ancillary departments to oversee go live of new products, processes, and technologies</li><li>
Participate and support success of regulatory readiness surveys</li><li>
Utilize various technologies to develop curriculum to meet the needs of the adult learner</li><li>
Creation and ongoing updates for orientation validation tools, immediate education, and competency documents</li><li>
Implement evidence-based practices throughout onboarding and continuing education</li><li>
Create and lead nursing education classes, competencies, and blitz/roving education</li><li>
Collaborate with ancillary departments to provide standardized education for quality patient care</li><li>
Collect, monitor, and analyze nursing quality indicators to identify trends and education needs</li><li>
Identify opportunities for improvement and knowledge gaps within the practice of nursing</li><li>
Serve as an expert resource to front-line staff 24/7.</li><li>
Must be in good physical condition and able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position.</li><li>
Must be able to withstand many long hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending and sitting.</li><li>
Manual dexterity, good eye/hand coordination and acceptable vision and hearing needed in daily work.</li><li>
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.</li><li>
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, the public and other agencies.</li><li>
