The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) will accomplish the company's goals and objectives by holding administrators under their direction accountable for census growth, resident care, state and federal surveys, positive employee relations, a defined return on investment, an effective business plan, and implementation of CCCN programs and philosophy. The RDO must be strong in planning and control so s/he can manage daily issues without interfering with the ability to anticipate future business trends and plan accordingly. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Directly oversees Nursing Home Administrators within a designated region.

FUNCTIONS:

Census Under the direction of the CEO, and with the administrator, communicates the appropriate Census and Mix objectives for the year, in conjunction with the budget and the business plan.Ensures that facility has a sales and marketing plan in place that will allow facility to maximize census and exceed expectations.Reviews the status daily via daily census report and each month on site and ensures that goals are established if results are not meeting expectations.

Quality of Care Ensures facility programs achieve compliance expectations as measured by facility QI trends and internal company surveys. Ensures an effective CQI process is in place for all facilities to identify and resolve facility problems. Evaluates each facility's CQI program at least monthly.

Net Operating Income Conducts monthly budget review to include the Spend Down process. Monitors labor and supply expense PPDs to ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and to ensure facilities are adjusting to census fluctuations. Monitors Ancillary supplies to ensure that proper controls are in place. Ensures each facility maximizes ancillary revenue opportunities. Ensures that facility is utilizing Vision and appropriately managing clinical reimbursement process. Reviews the status each month on site and ensures that goals are established if results are not meeting expectations.

Administrator Development

Ensures newly hired administrators receive a proper orientation. The new administrator will attend Cantex University. Annually assist the Area Team in establishing objectives for each administrator. Conducts annual Performance Reviews and quarterly reviews on administrators and ensures administrator does the same for department heads.

Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree. Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator or eligible for licensure by the state in which the health centers are located.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible for multi site management and staff development experience in long-term care. At least 5 years experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other facility staff. Possess special interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Strong oral and written communication skills.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) assists the CEO in managing the operations of Compass Intervention Center. The COO provides recommendations and guidance to the Leadership Team, sets objectives, develops plans and directs activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility. The COO plays a vital role in the strategic and long-term planning of the Hospital. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:<ul><li>

Presents a yearly plan for staff development based on identified learning needs of personnel, licensing, OSHA, CMS and TJC standards. Conducts learning needs assessments, makes rounds on patient care units, interacts with all departments, and serves on committees in order to identify learning needs.</li><li>
Reviews journal articles, makes recommendations to CEO on evidence based practices to consider for implementation, and distributes to the appropriate departments.</li><li>
Works collaborative and presently with staff on all units and departments to provide education, information around Quality initiatives, and support for department leadership in meeting PI goals. Assist with ensuring all deficiencies identified through the Performance Improvement analysis are addressed with appropriate solving actions. Collects, coordinates and maintains informational reports from all departments and committees as outlined in the Performance Improvement (PI) Plan.</li><li>
Serves as the facility&rsquo;s Compliance Officer.</li><li>
Ensures the hospital&rsquo;s environment is safe, clean, and well organized. Makes recommendations for resources and adequate space. Submits requests for repairs and for required equipment. Conducts quarterly safety rounds. Assists with the coordination of offices for all personnel to be most streamlined and productive.</li><li>
Maintains knowledge and understanding of The Joint Commission and CMS Standards and strategies for compliance as hospital&rsquo;s internal expert. Acts as the facility liaison during the survey process including other applicable state and federal regulatory agencies. We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a RN Hospice Administrator to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership experience in hospice care, home health, or clinical operations management.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Direct overall hospice branch operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (CMS, Medicare, Joint Commission, etc.)</li><li>
Provide clinical oversight and ensure timely and accurate documentation of hospice services</li><li>
Interview, hire, supervise, evaluate, and support interdisciplinary hospice staff including RN Clinical Managers, RNs, LPNs, social workers, chaplains, CNAs, and volunteers</li><li>
Oversee patient admissions and care planning, ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process</li><li>
Promote a culture of excellence in hospice nursing, end-of-life care, and family support</li><li>
Conduct performance evaluations, assign workloads fairly, and address employee concerns</li><li>
Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts and maintain survey readiness</li><li>
Monitor financial performance: manage expenses, payroll, supply costs, and budgeting while driving branch revenue growth through census development, referral management, and efficient resource utilization</li><li>
Maintain strong relationships with physicians, referral sources, and the broader community</li></ul>
About You:
<ul><li>Current RN license in the state of employment (required)</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)</li><li>
3+ years of experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare operations leadership</li><li>
Strong understanding of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation</li><li>
Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations</li><li>
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills</li><li>
Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for patients and families</li></ul>
