About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structures Inspector (Bridges &amp; Highway Structures O&amp;M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar on a long-term project managing the Strategic Highways Structures in the country.
In this role, you will be responsible for the Inspections and Maintenance of bridges and highway structures across the network, ensuring their safety, structural integrity and serviceability in compliance with the contract&rsquo;s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This includes bridges, footbridges flyovers/interchanges, iconic bridges, tunnels, monuments, culverts, retaining walls, gantries, masts and other highway structural assets.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements for Inspections, Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance, meeting all required SLAs and KPIs &ndash; Effectively eliminating any qualify failures.</li><li>
Ensure accurate utilization of Asset Management System (MAXIMO) to manage and close out Work Orders (Wos) and Service Request (SRs) correctly and efficiently.</li><li>

Qualifications

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (or strong relevant experience in highway structures inspections, preferably in Qatar or the Middle East)</li><li>
Proven experience in Operations and Maintenance contracts of bridges and other highway structures.</li><li>
Solid understanding of structural behavior and deterioration mechanisms in reinforced concrete, steel, composite and prestressed structures.</li><li>

All position changes are contingent upon the availability of funding and alignment with organizational needs. To be considered for promotion to Civil Inspector III, employees must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>
Consistently perform at a satisfactory or higher level in their current role</li><li>
Meet all established minimum qualifications for the higher classification.</li><li>
Receive a recommendation from their supervisor or manager.</li><li>
Obtain approval from the Manger and Human Resources.</li></ul>
Working Conditions:<ul><li>
Considerable exposure to hazards on construction sites when inspecting structures. Exposure to multi-story elevations, cramped quarters, temporary stairs and planks, temperature extremes, dust, noise, power equipment and vehicular traffic.</li><li>
Intermittent exposure to stressful situations as a result of human behavior and the demands of the position.</li><li>
May be required to facilitate emergency response after hours.</li><li>
Extended hours may be required to facilitate project goals and completion.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
