<p>We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer &ndash; Roads &amp; Highways with a solid background in infrastructure and earthworks, and strong capabilities in project planning and coordination.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>- Plan, coordinate, and supervise road and highway infrastructure works including earthworks, grading, subgrade preparation, and pavement construction.</p><p>- Prepare and review construction drawings, method statements, and technical specifications related to road and infrastructure projects.</p><p>- Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure activities are executed according to approved plans and timelines.</p><p>- Coordinate with survey teams for setting out, levels, and alignment verification.</p><p>- Review and monitor earthwork quantities including excavation, filling, compaction, and material utilization.</p><p>- Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs for road and earthwork projects.</p><p>- Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.</p><p>- Support tender preparation and review technical submissions related to infrastructure works.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>- Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering.</p><p>- Minimum 5 years of experience in roads, infrastructure, and earthwork projects.</p><p>- Experience in project planning and scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.</p><p>- Ability to perform quantity take-offs and analyze earthwork volumes.</p><p>- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.</p><p>Interested candidates can send their C.Vs to: hr@hightrustgroup.com</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>

<p>Stantec is looking for a full time senior professional with strong project management and roadway engineering capabilities to lead various-sized roadway study and design projects for state departments of transportation and local municipalities. As a project team leader, the Senior Project Manager will work closely together with a project engineer, roadway designers, traffic engineers and other team members to deliver location and alignment studies, preliminary and final design plans, and other technical documents common to roadway engineering projects. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary client and public facing contact for the project. The Senior Project Manager will provide supervision as needed; function as an advisor and be actively involved in meeting schedules and resolving problems as they arise. They will be responsible for managing the scope and integration of subconsultants and employees. It is also anticipated that the Senior Project Manager will support business development and the delivery of proposals.</p>

<p>Your Key Responsibilities</p>
<ul><li>Performs on technically complex projects and acts as a technical resource by providing guidance to other team members on roadway-related projects.</li>
<li>Consult with clients, agencies, and others to obtain and determine project requirements and approvals.</li>
<li>Assists in the preparation of client proposals, reports, and the development of project design elements.</li>
<li>Leads a project team in inventorying and analyzing existing project conditions and determination of the project&rsquo;s purpose and need</li>
<li>Leads a project team in identifying and analyzing principal design features and alternatives</li>
<li>Leads a project team in the development of feasible design alternatives to be compared against significant project parameters such as site conditions, right-of-way requirements, utility conflicts, design standards, safety, capacity, environmental impacts, community input, and cost.</li>
<li>Peer reviews studies, plans, contract documents, and estimates.</li>
<li>Manages the team in development of highway and roadway design plans.</li>
<li>Involved in the recruitment of new staff.</li>
<li>Supervision of direct reports. This may lead to supervision/oversight of other PMs.</li>
<li>Responsible for sales goals consistent with level of experience; anticipate a minimum of new project revenue on the order of $500K in year 1 and $1M in year 2.</li>
</ul><p>Your Capabilities and Credentials</p>
<ul><li>Demonstrate recent experience developing highway and/or roadway projects</li>
<li>Ability to lead design teams, manage projects, and check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and management of project time to meet budget and schedule.</li>
<li>Understands client expectations, budgeting, and proposal writing.</li>
<li>Knowledge of all relevant areas of transportation design and understanding of various design methods.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.</li>
<li>Ability to lead meetings with the client, design teams, other agencies, and the public.</li>
<li>Effective communicator and able to work with and lead teams.</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant design software, which may include AutoCAD Civil 3d and 3-D Modeling is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to see the big picture of roadway projects.</li>
<li>Experience in storm drain design, utility relocations, traffic designs is a plus.</li>
</ul><p>Education and Experience</p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.</li>
<li>Minimum of 12 or more years of experience in roadway design or similar.</li>
<li>Licensed Professional Engineer is required.</li>
</ul><p>Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.</p>
