JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. RESPONSIBILITES<ul><li>
Travel to assigned patient&rsquo;s homes and manage their care plan according to physician&rsquo;s instructions.</li><li>
Assess and chart observations of the patient&rsquo;s condition at each visit.</li><li>
Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.</li><li>
Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.</li><li>
Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.</li><li>
Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.</li><li>
Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.</li></ul>
Requirements:

SKILLS<ul><li>
Strong interpersonal skills that allow them to get to know their patients, build personal rapport and establish trust to provide high-quality care while increasing patients&rsquo; enjoyment and comfort.</li><li>
Initiative so they can make independent decisions when required and accept direction and requests from patients.</li><li>
The ability to follow instructions but also act independently if necessary.</li><li>
Excellent observational and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.</li><li>
Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.</li><li>
Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs</li></ul>
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Relevant license and certification</li><li>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transport</li><li>
Ability to lift 25lbs</li><li>
Strong candidates have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home care industry (or related industry &ndash; hospice, home health, hospital, etc.)</li></ul></div>
