Strategic Roles & Responsibilities % 7 Strategic Roles & Responsibilities <ul> <li>Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the assigned units nursing practices</li> <li>Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency</li> <li>Pursue high staff engagement</li> <li>Obtain high patient experience</li> <li>Achieve and sustain high quality of care and patient safety</li> <li>Support the empowerment of nurses through the enculturation of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model</li> </ul> Operational Roles & Responsibilities % 93 Operational Roles & Responsibilities <ul> <li>Deliver high quality nursing care services focusing on complex cases</li> <li>Assist in managing workflow ensuring proper resource utilization and providing mentorship to junior nurses</li> <li>Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participates in the evaluation of patient outcomes</li> <li>Achieve and or Maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3 which is a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12 month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program</li> <li>Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement evaluate and document patient care from admission through discharge specific to the patients age</li> <li>Provide nursing care patient family education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patients privacy dignity personal preference and culture demonstrating acceptance caring and empathy utilizing appropriate resources when applicable</li> <li>Precept new hires and trainees during the probation training period and participates in making recommendations regarding progress and training needs</li> <li>Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations by utilizing clinical skills critical thinking and evidence based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes</li> <li>Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy patient safety and comfort while maintaining a safe clean and organized environment for the patient family visitors and staff</li> <li>Performs procedures requiring advanced competency skills or training in the expanded nursing roles of Home Healthcare</li> <li>Presents a positive image of JHAH through professional appearance and behavior whilst conducting home visits</li> <li>Immediately escalates abnormal findings to the attention of the Charge Nurse and or Home Health Care physician Advise patients families to attend Emergency Services when further assessment is necessary</li> </ul> Minimum Education Required 3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing Professional Certifications Required <ul> <li>Current licensure as a professional registered nurse</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS)</li> <li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)</li> </ul> Years of Experience Minimum 4 years of Nursing Experience including 2 years in Home Healthcare or related field.
