</ul><div>REQUIREMENTS:</div>
<ul><li>Personal OR Professional Experience: Taking care of a loved one first-hand OR professional experience working as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or companion caregiver / homemaker. Commitment and Compassion for providing quality care in our community.</li>
<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License &amp; your own Insured Vehicle to transport and accompany clients. Required to have a vehicle at every shift.</li>
<li>Must have your own reliable cell phone and daily access to the internet, email, texting</li>
<li>Minimum availability of 20 working hours per week and we have shifts available to work up to 40 hours a week</li>
<li>Willingness to travel a work commute up to 20 miles to and from the clients home</li>
<li>The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds</li>
<li>We complete a criminal background and driving record check before hiring and we are a drug free workplace</li>

As a caregiver on our team, you&rsquo;ll deliver essential support and companionship that helps clients live independently with a better quality of life. In this role, you&rsquo;ll make a real impact by offering dynamic care and meaningful companionship that enhances each client&rsquo;s daily life.
CareBuilders at Home caregivers provide non-medical homemaker and companion services to clients in the comfort of their homes. Caregivers support clients by promoting safety, independence, and quality of life while following all agency policies, client care plans, and state regulatory requirements. 
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Some of your responsibilities might include:</li><li>
Following individualized care plans and communicating any changes in condition</li><li>
Providing safety oversight</li><li>
Assisting clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.)</li><li>
Providing support for safe mobility (experience with a Hoyer lift preferred)</li><li>
Providing companionship and emotional support</li><li>
Escorting clients to appointments, errands, or community activities</li><li>
Providing light housekeeping, laundry services, household organization</li><li>
Meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs</li><li>
Grocery shopping and errands</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned within agency scope</li></ul>
Caregiver Requirements:<ul><li>
HHA, PCA, or PCT certification</li><li>
CPR Certification preferred</li><li>
Follow a detailed care plan and complete daily reporting post shift</li><li>
Valid drivers license and clean driving record if transportation is provided as part of duties</li><li>
A valid driver's license is not a requirement to apply for the job or to be hired.</li><li>
Must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle driving record check</li><li>
Legally authorized to work in the United States</li><li>
18 years of age or older</li><li>
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time</li><li>
Maintain client confidentiality and privacy</li><li>
Comply with CT elder abuse and neglect reporting requirements</li><li>
Have a compassionate and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening</li></ul>
