We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated per diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our growing Hospice Company for our Easton, PA region.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p><b>
The caregiver (CNA / CHHA) will be responsible for:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Care for census of 5-6 patients</li>
<li>Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.</li>
<li>Provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.</li>
<li>Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.</li>
<li>Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient's laundry.</li>
<li>Feeds and assists with meals.</li>
<li>Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse</li>

  <li>
   A Diploma or Associates Degree in nursing is required; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   A current, active, and unrestricted compact (multistate) license as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  </li>
  <li>
   The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) allows a registered nurse (RN) and licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) to have one multistate license in a primary state of residency (the home state) and to practice in other compact states (remote states), while subject to each state&rsquo;s practice laws and discipline.
  </li>
  <li>
   Current CPR required; CHPN preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 2 years related experience. Experience in direct care of patients with life limiting illnesses required. Related experience may include hospice and palliative care; family medicine; internal medicine; geriatrics, oncology; home health care; medical surgical.
  </li>
  <li>
   Prior experience in working in an environment which focuses on the pediatric population is required for Kids Path&trade; Nurse with BCLS (CPR) training for both adult and child/infant required.
  </li>
  <li>
   Computer proficiency is required.
