We are a rapidly expanding our Hospitalist team of physicians and advanced practice providers committed to clinical quality improvement and ensuring patients receive the highest quality care at an affordable cost.</p><p></p><p>
We are looking for an experienced inpatient APP to join our St. George Regional Hospitalist team on an as-needed basis (PRN). PRN providers are required to submit availability for at least two shifts per month. Please note that shifts are not guaranteed in this PRN role.</p><p></p><p>
The Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will play a critical role in the management of hospitalized patients, with a primary focus on those on general medicine floors. In this role you will work with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, case managers, nurses, dietitians, and pharmacists to provide optimal patient care and outcomes.<br>

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br>
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are accountable for the provision of patient care at the top of licensure, within their scope of practice. Licensed, credentialed and privileged to perform such duties as:</p><ul><li><p>
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history and physical examinations.</p></li><li><p>
Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians.</p></li><li><p>
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including initiating appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.</p></li><li><p>
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to ensure coordinated patient care.</p></li><li><p>
Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and involved in care decisions and care transitions.</p></li><li><p>
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards.</p></li><li><p>
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with advancements in critical care and internal medicine.</p></li><li><p>
Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the hospitalist program and hospital.</p></li><li><p>

Provide medical care and management for patients, exercising autonomy in medical decision-making and services provided for the Internal Medicine patient with an emphasis on cardiology patients. Function independently to plan, deliver, and evaluate health care for the Internal Medicine cardiology inpatient population. Job includes rotating through several services, including hospitalist teams and cardiology consult team</p><p>
As the hospitalist team, facilitate the transition of care from the ED to inpatient cardiology services. Focus on the caring for hospitalized patients to manage care and length of stay, improve resource utilization and decrease costs to patients and the institution while providing personalized care. On the cardiology consult service, evaluate and manage cardiology consult inpatients and work with the primary team to facilitate appropriate care, including cardiac catheterization, and medication therapy. The position requires staffing nights and weekends and, while primarily located at the University Campus, may staff at other locations including Iowa Rehab hospital and University of Iowa Medical Center North Liberty. Nocturnist Hospitalist APP

<div><p>The <b>Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin</b> seeks candidates for a hybrid <b>Oncologic Hospitalist/Nocturnist faculty</b> position. Rank for this position is open. The Oncologic Hospitalist Service provides 24 hour-a-day inpatient care to solid tumor oncology patients or to patients requiring management of malignancies of the hematopoietic system. Our inpatient services admit approximately 1,500 patients per year. This position will work in collaboration with hematology and oncology providers in the Division of Hematology and Oncology.</p><p></p><p>
The <b>Oncologic Hospitalist</b> team is staffed with a hybrid model involving collaborative care provided by both hospitalists and oncology faculty. The oncologic hospitalists on the service are Internal Medicine trained physicians and manage the day-to-day care of the patients with oncologists providing the necessary oncologic expertise. For all shifts, a team of dedicated and expertly-trained advanced practice providers, fellows and housestaff also work alongside of the hospitalist in this model and round out the care delivery team.</p><p></p><p>

This is a per diem position. Hourly pay ranges from $900 to $2400 per shift, depending on the type and timing of shifts worked. <li>Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen</li>
<li>Part of the University of Maryland Medical System</li>
<li>University hospital with excellent specialty support</li>
<li>Average 15 patients/day</li>
<li>Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes</li>
<li>Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs</li>
<li>Day: 10 Physicians and 7 APPs</li>
<li>Swing: 1 APP</li>
<li>Night: 2 Physicians and 3 APPs</li>

<li>Responsibilities include providing acute inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing evening hospital rounds and cross coverage of patients on service. Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work side by side with our physicians as clinical colleagues.</li>
<li>Our Nocturnist APPs independently manage patients and conduct admissions at night under the supervision of a Nocturnist. Our Pre-Admission Clinic APPs independently manage patients in a clinic setting with physician supervision.</li>
<li>APPs are encouraged to work at the top of their license. We offer a robust, personally tailored and highly acclaimed onboarding program.</li>
