 As Bar &amp; Restaurant Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food &amp; Beverage department to provide exceptional product and service within brand operating standards.

 To execute the position of Bar &amp; Restaurant Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable managing employees, and willing to be directly involved in day-to-day operations.HousingHousing provided in the manager&rsquo;s apartment on site.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Hotel Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the property, including:<ul><li>Overseeing daily front desk, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and guest service operations</li><li>Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising employees</li><li>Making sure staff receive proper time off while maintaining coverage</li><li>Handling guest issues, complaints, refunds, and service recovery professionally</li><li>Maintaining clean rooms, public areas, and overall property appearance</li><li>Monitoring room rates and adjusting pricing based on occupancy, demand, and local market conditions</li><li>Managing online travel agency accounts such as Expedia, Booking.com, Wyndham/brand systems, and other hotel platforms</li><li>Reviewing reservations, cancellations, no-shows, and guest billing issues</li><li>Placing orders and managing purchase orders for supplies, linens, maintenance items, and hotel needs</li><li>Coordinating repairs, maintenance, inspections, vendors, and contractors</li><li>Managing bills, invoices, and basic property expenses</li><li>Ensuring hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures are followed</li><li>Helping control labor costs, supply costs, and property expenses</li><li>Communicating regularly with ownership regarding performance, staffing, issues, and improvements</li><li>Being available for urgent property needs when required</li></ul>QualificationsPreferred qualifications include:<ul><li>Prior hotel, motel, hospitality, or property management experience</li><li>Experience managing front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, or hospitality staff</li><li>Strong customer service and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to manage schedules, employee issues, guest complaints, and property needs</li><li>Comfortable using hotel reservation systems and online booking platforms</li><li>Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, invoices, and reports</li><li>Ability to work independently and make good decisions</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Dependable, honest, and professional</li><li>Willingness to be hands-on when needed</li></ul>Preferred ExperienceExperience with any of the following is a plus:<ul><li>Wyndham, Super 8, Choice, or other hotel brand systems</li><li>Expedia Partner Central</li><li>Booking.com extranet</li><li>Hotel PMS systems</li><li>Housekeeping and maintenance management</li><li>Hotel rate management</li><li>Vendor and supply ordering</li><li>Payroll or employee scheduling</li></ul>Work ScheduleThis is a full-time management position.
