Role - QA/QC Engineer (Jr) (Quality Assurance And Quality Control Engineer)This is Jr Level Role.CSCEC, Dubai (On-site)Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Finishing &amp; Interior Fit‑out) Project: High‑rise Hotel Construction Project, Dubai Employer: China State Construction Third Engineering Bureau (Overseas Division) &ndash; Main ContractorQA/QC Engineer with finishing experience, tailored for a China State Construction Third Engineering Bureau&rsquo;s high‑rise hotel project in Dubai.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Conduct on‑site inspections and quality checks for all finishing works (drywall, plastering, tiling, painting, ceiling, joinery, MEP finishing interfaces, etc.). &middot; Review and approve material submittals, inspection &amp; test plans (ITPs), and method statements related to finishing. &middot; Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and consultants to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and local authority codes (DM / DCD). &middot; Witness and document all quality control inspections (pre‑pour, pre‑covering, handover inspections). &middot; Raise and track NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports), follow up corrective actions, and maintain QA/QC documentation. &middot; Participate in monthly quality audits, snagging / de‑snagging processes, and final handover inspections. &middot; Prepare daily/weekly QA/QC reports and punch lists for finishing packages.---Requirements:&middot; Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Architecture. &middot; Experience: &middot; Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in high‑rise building projects, with at least 3 years focused on finishing / interior fit‑out works (hotel, residential, or commercial towers). &middot; Previous experience with a main contractor is a must. &middot; Gulf / Middle East experience, especially Dubai, is highly preferred. &middot; Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): &middot; ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor &middot; CSWIP / BGAS / AWS (not mandatory, but a plus) &middot; Technical skills: &middot; Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards (ASTM, BS, or local Dubai standards). &middot; Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM) or DCD regulations. &middot; Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and method statements. &middot; Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and QA/QC reporting tools. &middot; Soft skills: &middot; Excellent communication and coordination skills in English. &middot; Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure in a fast‑track environment.---How to Apply:Send your CV torecruitment AT cscec32 DOT aewith the subject line: QA/QC Engineer (Finishing) &ndash; Dubai Hotel Project.I N D I A N S are preferred.
