DESCRIPTION: 
Housekeeper I
 Performs indirect patient care, which includes but is not limited to, cleaning occupied and unoccupied patient areas and maintaining an environment which is hygienically clean and free of hazards for the well being of patient, other associates, and self. An understanding and willingness to follow infection control, housekeeping department policies and procedures, and safety. Needs to be knowledgeable with the physical location of all departments (i.e., CCU - OB - ER - etc.). Handle all waste according to proper policy and procedures. Clean, disinfect areas using approved solutions. Request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. Maintain equipment - keep it clean, neat, and in working order.
 
Housekeeper II
 Performs indirect patient care by cleaning/disinfecting and maintaining floors in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive fashion free of hazards for the well being of patients, other associates, and self. An understanding and willingness to follow infection control, housekeeping department policies and procedures, and safety guidelines. Remove trash/biohazardous waste, and contaminated soiled linen from all areas of the hospital according to housekeeping policies and procedures. Request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed, maintains equipment - keeping it clean, neat, and in working condition - following suggested manufacturer practices.
 
This is a first shift position. The hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. This is a bi-weekly schedule, working every other weekend.

The Houseman at Appellation Healdsburg is the essential support backbone of our housekeeping operations, ensuring seamless logistics and supply management that enables our Room Attendants to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Linen Management: Remove dirty linens, towels, and bedding from guest rooms and transport to laundry facilities in an organized and efficient manner. Supply Restocking: Deliver clean linens, towels, and guest room supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areas, ensuring adequate inventory is maintained throughout all shifts.
Glassware and Amenity Exchange: Remove soiled glassware, cutlery, and used guest amenities from rooms, replacing with clean items according to luxury hospitality standards.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality to contribute to a high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.Duties<ul><li>Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces</li><li>Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable</li><li>Assist with hotel housekeeping operations by replenishing supplies and ensuring rooms meet quality standards</li><li>Handle custodial responsibilities including waste disposal and restocking amenities in guest rooms and common areas</li><li>Support janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks as needed, maintaining a high level of hygiene throughout the property</li><li>Assist with housekeeping management duties such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues</li><li>Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good working condition</li><li>Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality preferred; hotel experience is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>Ability to handle custodial equipment safely and responsibly</li><li>Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous</li><li>Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial but not required</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays if necessary.</li></ul>This position offers an engaging work environment where attention to detail and dedication are highly valued.
