Job Overview</div><div>
The PM Housekeeping Manager will report to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping and will oversee all day-to-day operations focusing on the PM shift within the Housekeeping Team.</div><div></div><p><b><br>

 Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Housekeeping Department in Doha, the Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms assigned to the room attendant on a daily basis.    Maintain company&rsquo;s image portraying a neat and tidy appearance and correct wearing of uniform, following strictly the hotels&rsquo; personal hygiene policy.

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Inspector is to inspect all cleaned rooms to make sure that the standards have been met. The Housekeeping Supervisor will use a checklist to evaluate if all items have been completed to these standards and remedy any incorrect items.</p><p></p><p><b>
Pay Range:</b> $16.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.</p><div><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<br>
<ul><li>Must be detail-oriented in all cleaning aspects</li><li>Attend line-up each morning to receive room assignments</li><li>Common areas &ndash; maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all common areas</li><li>Bring laundry to the service center for pick up by the laundry facility</li><li>Restock all housekeeping closets on the property with amenities and linens as necessary</li><li>Clean and maintain Service Center, Operations Center, and other office areas, including bathrooms and break rooms</li><li>Golf cart maintenance &ndash; make sure that carts are cleaned out at the end of the shift and plugged into the charger to be prepared for the next shift</li><li>Notify Maintenance and Design departments about room issues immediately</li><li>Take lost and found items from the vacant room to the front desk and notify the manager when items are found</li><li>Check rooms for final inspection after he/she has cleaned</li><li>Make sure all items are stocked in that room and notify Front Desk when the room is ready for the arrival</li><li>Complete all room make-ups/ turnovers as assigned</li><li>Load stocker cart with daily supplies such as sheets, towels, toilet paper, amenities, plates, glasses, coffee cups, hangers, napkins, light bulbs, robes, etc.</li><li>Assist in cleaning check-out and stay-over rooms as necessary</li></ul><br>
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.<br>
To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required.<br>
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.<br>

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
<ul><li>Guide housekeepers to maintain 5-star standards for all rooms</li></ul><br>
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE<br>
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Some experience with cleaning and understanding of standards</li><li>Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel environment</li></ul><br>
LANGUAGE SKILLS<br>
<ul><li>Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members, guests, and managers</li></ul><br>
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS<br>
<ul><li>Basic knowledge and understanding of math</li></ul><br>
REASONING ABILITY<br>
<ul><li>Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals</li></ul><br>
PHYSICAL DEMANDS<br>
