Job Summary
 The HR Administrator I is responsible for managing and overseeing specific HR programs or functions within a state agency or department. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</h2><div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration, office administration, or a similar role.</li><li>
Working knowledge of HR processes, employment practices, employment laws, and workplace safety standards.</li><li>
Computer skills required:<ul><li>
Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams</li><li>
Experience with attendance or payroll systems, timekeeping, or HRIS (preferably ADP)</li></ul></li><li>
Other skills required:<ul><li>
Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>

This position will be located in a normal office environment and may be required to visit the shop floor as needed. The work schedule for this position will be 1st shift hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Overtime may also be required based on business conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is moderate with occasional loud noise. Frequently required to talk, hear, walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. When on the shop floor, may work near moving mechanical parts and may occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles or toxic chemicals. May require occasional lifting of supplies or materials, therefore, must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
