The position is responsible for the administration of university benefits for State-administered and FSU-specific plans, including research, development, and execution of plans; plan communication; employee enrollment and termination; and vendor coordination.</p><p><b>

Maintaining compliance with federal and state laws in the administration of university benefits programs.</li><li>
Providing insightful input and strategic participation with management in developing competitive benefits programs for all classifications of employees and consulting on benefits-related issues.</li><li>
Conducting and developing programs to educate and orient employees on aspects of employee benefits.</li><li>
Representing FSU in Benefits related meetings, committees, or programs. Participate with internal and external audiences with planning recommendations for benefits and insurance.</li><li>
Supervising staff: leading, directing, and evaluating staff in the management of benefits programs; training staff to ensure proper administration of plans, and providing professional development to staff in all areas of benefits administration.</li></ul>

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, and serving as a member of the Human Resources leadership team, the Senior Director of Benefits and Compensation is a key advisor to leadership, faculty and staff throughout Berklee on health, welfare, retirement benefits and compensation. Strategic Analysis and Reporting</div><ul><li><div>
Provide senior management with data-driven analysis and recommendations for retirement offerings, including defined benefit pension and 403(b) plans.</div></li><li><div>
Research and synthesize industry best practices and trends in retirement plan design to benchmark Berklee&rsquo;s current offerings.</div></li><li><div>
