Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. This position will lead the site&rsquo;s HR team. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees. This role provides HR Business Partner support for the US Fort Smith Motor Manufacturing plant within the Motion NEMA division. This HR role provides support for over 1,000 employees.
You will be mainly accountable for:<ul><li>
HR Leadership &amp; Strategic Partnership &ndash; Lead the site HR team and partner with senior site leaders to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business objectives and organizational goals. Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and people strategy.</li><li>
Comprehensive HRBP Support &amp; Employee Relations &ndash; Provide full-spectrum HRBP support for manufacturing site employees, including employee relations, compliance guidance, performance management, and recruitment for hourly roles. Manage daily employee inquiries and ensure consistent interpretation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.</li><li>
Employee Lifecycle, Investigations &amp; Change Management &ndash; Oversee HR processes across the employee lifecycle&mdash;from onboarding and leave management to return-to-work coordination&mdash;while partnering with Payroll, Benefits, and Supervisors. Lead fair, thorough, and timely investigations into workplace concerns, including hotline reports, with a focus on root cause resolution. Facilitate change management initiatives and drive continuous improvement across business areas.</li><li>
Engagement, Projects &amp; Data Integrity &ndash; Manage engagement, wellness, and recognition initiatives, as well as company social events. Actively contribute to MONM HDQ HR projects and maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and Workday data.</li></ul>
Qualifications for the role:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree with minimum 10 years related experience (HR experience in a manufacturing environment / Master&rsquo;s Degree &ndash; Preferred).</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employee relations, coaching techniques, investigations, and labor practices. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.</li><li>
Experience driving organizational changes &ndash; Onboarding (including PowerPoint presentations &amp; safety orientation).</li><li>
Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint &ndash; experience using Workday, Kronos preferred.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li><li>

The Human Resources Representative is responsible for providing administrative and human resource generalist support to the manufacturing facility ensuring effective application of all human resource activities with an emphasis on recruiting, onboarding, and LOA.
 The Human Resources Representative will provide full employment life cycle support to 2-4 manufacturing plants in North Carolina. The facilities employee headcount approximately 300 people in total. The Human Resources Representative is responsible for the recruiting/hiring process, new hire orientation of hourly and salaried employees, and the day-to-day administration for both hourly and salaried employees and ensuring adherence to Company policies and government requirements with regard to the employment process. Principle Accountabilities: 
<ul>
<li>Coordinate the administrative aspects of human resource activities such as performance appraisals, personnel requisitions, job descriptions, new hire process (screen candidates) and leaves of absence.</li>
<li>Source and screen candidates for hiring managers; develop and maintain relationships with community outreach programs for purposes of the Affirmative Action Program.</li>
<li>Plan, coordinate and implement new hire employee orientation process for hourly and salaried employees.</li>
<li>Track and ensure completion of training plans for new employees.</li>
