The role includes lab testing, process monitoring, documentation, and promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.Key Responsibilities:Quality Control (QC):<ul><li>Conduct raw material, in-process, and finished product testing to ensure compliance with internal specifications and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Perform chemical analysis (pH, viscosity, active content, density, stability, etc.) using laboratory equipment.</li><li>Ensure proper sampling and retention procedures for quality traceability.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of tests, results, and non-conformance issues.</li><li>Support R&amp;D in formulation adjustments and new product trials.</li><li>Report and follow up on deviations, batch failures, or product complaints.</li><li>Calibrate laboratory instruments and maintain lab cleanliness and safety.</li></ul>Quality, Health, Safety &amp; Environment (QHSE):<ul><li>Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, and local HSE regulations.</li><li>Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for chemical handling, storage, and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Monitor the safe storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.</li><li>Conduct safety inductions and training for workers, especially in handling corrosive or flammable substances.</li><li>Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for workplace accidents or product quality issues.</li><li>Maintain SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and ensure all chemical materials are used and stored safely.</li><li>Promote a safety-first culture and environmental sustainability throughout the factory.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience in a QC or QHSE role in a chemical, detergent, or FMCG manufacturing plant.</li><li>Strong understanding of chemical safety standards and quality control procedures.</li><li>Familiar with national and international standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP if applicable).</li><li>Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and laboratory data software.</li></ul>Preferred Certifications:<ul><li>NEBOSH / IOSH or other HSE certifications.</li><li>ISO Internal Auditor (9001/14001/45001).</li><li>Training in chemical handling, first aid, and firefighting is an asset.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary + commission</li><li>Supportive and professional work environment</li><li>Opportunities for career growth and development</li></ul>If you meet the above criteria and are ready to be part of a successful team, please send your CV to: hrq@janapack.comJob Type: Full-timePay: KD300.000 - KD350.000 per month <div id='job-id'>Job Id: DrjnnOy9RFZF9gxUKSozXO4NzKdgcjkk6Zu0N6rOdvOpxUBm02EVZZ2HHPAm+W1Llz7xqdd/JnpwCm0pDbWtNkzTxlkCVqrg0+w+SIXW7jMrQ7ijHlLujHaIMfu206Q0XTc=</div>
