Job Summary
As an HSE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.  To provide HSE leadership in implementing Group HSE objectives. Ensuring effective implementation of the organisation's HSE standards and procedures. Monitor and guide HSE trends and drive implementation of suitable HSE initiatives to mitigate risk.
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 
 Main Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Teaching and coaching on HSE Management System Standards and Procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive and provide subject matter technical guidance to HSE Management System procedures and processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse data and communicate trends on HSE performance throughout the organisation and promote HSE awareness and culture
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops and is responsible for Risk and Hazard Assessment
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform/Support internal and external audits and be responsible to drive implementation of corrective actions
 </li>
 <li>
 Accountability and ownership of the Region/Country HSE objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists with HSE review and recommendations on Pre-Qualifications/Requests for Proposals, Bid Revies, Contracts and Pre-mobilization
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares Bridging Documents for projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the HR (training), project management teams, engineering departments and business development personnel as appropriate
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the business works in accordance with accredited standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OSHA
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares and maintains required HSE documents, records, presentations, and reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Leads HSE inspections, and manages internal, sub-contractor and third-party audits
 </li>
 <li>
 Supports investigations as per the latest responsibility matrix and analyses of, and reports findings to management on
 </li>
 </ul>

 Develops and monitors HSE performance, progress, preventive and corrective action plans; hold line managers to account for completing their assigned action items
 </li>
 <li>
 Reports against internal client KPI's
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible and champions HSE compliance in the facility, onshore, &amp; offshore workplace
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the deployment of the EnerMech Engagement Team (EET) in all applicable locations; secure support from all line managers; support the EET to define and achieve their annual plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for implementation and tracking HSE processes such as Observations, Walk the Talk Leadership Engagements, and Life Saving Rules Inspections
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with external bodies on HSE matters
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise business lines to ensure clients' needs are met
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive HSE initiatives and improvements
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with HR Training and Competency team on HSE Training Matrix and HSE competencies
 </li>
 <li>
 Travel required offshore and onshore. Visible presence and engagement required
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Essential Qualifications and Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 NEBOSH Certificate (Environmental and Health &amp; Safety)
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert level knowledge in OSHA
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Incident Investigation methods
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Risk and Hazard Assessment
 </li>
 <li>
 ISO Auditor certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working on a global team
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledgeable on the ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in a similar role covering international accountabilities
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications:

 NEBOSH diploma (obtained or in progress)
