<b>Position Summary:</b></div>

The Arc of Washington County is seeking a motivated individual interested in the Human Resource profession. The Human Resources Intern supports the HR Department in a myriad of areas. Primary focus will be assisting in the recruitment and on boarding process with secondary efforts in assisting in Human Resource functions &ndash; documentation, workers comp and training.
<br>
<br>
This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in Human Resources to gain hands-on experience in HR related functions within a mission-driven organization.<br>
<br>
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
<br>
<ul><li>Assist with full-cycle recruitment for frontline DSP positions across multiple programs and sites</li></ul></div>
<ul><li>Review resumes and screen applicants to assess basic qualifications</li><li>Coordinate interviews and maintain interview scheduling</li><li>Maintain and update the applicant tracking system</li><li>Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire documentation</li><li>Communicate with applicants by phone and email throughout the hiring process</li><li>Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to special projects</li><li>Provide general administrative support to the HR department</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>

<b>Qualifications:</b>
<div></div><ul><li>Junior or Senior currently pursuing a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>Strong interest in recruiting and HR operations</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills</li><li>Outgoing and comfortable speaking with a variety of people both by phone and in person</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Must be able to work on-site in Hagerstown, MD</li></ul>

<p>The People Resources Intern will be responsible for supporting the HR team in planning and executing HR principles and confidentiality for Power Home Remodeling. The intern will work closely with the team to assist in maintaining employee files, creating solutions proposals, and supporting compensation and benefits administration.</p>

<li>This is a fully in-office position at Power&rsquo;s Headquarters located in Chester, PA.</li>
<li>Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm</li>
<li>Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.</li>

The Human Resource (HR) Intern provides a wide variety of administrative support and services to the OD Directorate. The HR Intern works with Human Resources and Organizational Development team.</div>
Responsibilities:
