 The HR Operations Director leads CPI's day-to-day human resources function with primary emphasis on employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and oversight of the HR Business Partner team. Position Summary 
The Director of People Operations will help lead the People Team to enrich EO&rsquo;s culture, collaborate and support other departments, and drive key initiatives to serve a bilingual employee base. This role reports to the Head of People and will directly oversee the transactional processes for ~130 employees in both administration and warehouse/production environments. <li>Strong creative problem solving, group collaboration, and influencing, coaching, and conflict resolution skills</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization</li>
<li>Must be detail-oriented, organized, and flexible</li>
<li>Strong computer literacy skills with proficiency in communication software and HRIS systems</li>
<li>Prior payroll experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability and past success in multitasking and triaging competing priorities</li>
<li>Demonstrated grace-under-fire professionalism</li></ul> 


Education and Experience: 
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required</li>
<li>5+ years of leadership experience in Human Resources/People Department with at least 3 years managing general HR responsibilities including employee relations required</li>
<li>Previous experience in manufacturing or majority non-exempt environment strongly preferred</li>
<li>SHRM certification a plus</li></ul>

General Work Environment 
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

This job frequently visits production floor or warehouse environments. The employee would be near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high.
