Job Description: The HVAC Commercial Technician performs the installation of commercial and industrial heating and cooling equipment (rooftops, furnaces, central air conditioners, commercial refrigeration equipment).

Responsibilities and Duties:

<li>Maintaining HVAC systems (Hydronic, Steam, Forced Hot Air, and Heat Pumps).</li>
<li>Read schematics.</li>
<li>Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment.</li>
<li>Maintaining a high standard of mechanical installation practices.</li>
<li>Performing preventive maintenance on equipment.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 1 - 5 years of HVAC experience in HVAC service and installation or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.</li>
<li>Must have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC and related equipment.</li>
<li>CFC Certification.</li>
<li>Must be able to work independently and as a team member.</li>
<li>Strong communication and documentation skills.</li>

<li>Assist with basic ductwork tasks as needed - Read and understand blueprints to support installation and service work</li>
<li>(Optional but preferred) Complete or assist with HVAC take-off lists for materials</li>
<li>Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship, and customer service - Document work performed and communicate findings clearly</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications</div>
<ul><li>Valid HVAC License (state-appropriate)</li>
<li>5+ years of HVAC field experience preferred</li>
<li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints</li>
<li>Familiarity with RTUs, split systems, and VRF technology</li>
<li>Basic understanding of duct systems</li>
<li>Ability to run low voltage wiring neatly and efficiently</li>
<li>Good communication and teamwork skills</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li>
</ul><div>Preferred Skills (Not Required)</div>
 <div>Experience creating or reviewing HVAC take-off lists</div>
 <div>Knowledge of advanced controls or BAS systems</div>
