Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Engineering Department, The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, including associated air handling, chilled water distribution, refrigeration, and environmental control systems. The role involves planning individual jobs as well as long-term operations, developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the quality of all repair work. The responsibilities also include installing smaller air-conditioning systems, modifying existing systems, reviewing plans and specifications for contracted work, and inspecting the work of external contractors.
