Position Overview
Nu-Pipe is seeking a dependable and skilled Hydraulic Mechanic to maintain and repair our specialized spincasting construction equipment. This role is critical in keeping our fleet of mixers, pumps, compressors, and support vehicles running safely and efficiently. You will work on-site to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Lead diagnostic, maintenance, and repair efforts for diesel engines, hydraulic systems, compressors, and rotating equipment.</li><li>
Conduct equipment inspections and preventive maintenance planning.</li><li>
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on spincasting rigs and support vehicles.</li><li>
Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair plans with operations and project managers.</li><li>
Mentor and guide junior mechanics in the shop, ensuring best practices and safety standards.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
3+ years of hands-on mechanic experience with heavy construction or industrial equipment.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.</li><li>
Comfortable working with large construction equipment.</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license (CDL preferred).</li><li>

&bull; Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters.
 
&bull; Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems
 
&bull; Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systems
