DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p></p><ul><li>
The Hydraulic Modeler will be responsible in providing relevant calculations, drawings, specifications and other associated documents and ensure they are technically correct, complete and clearly presented.</li><li>
Completes complex and challenging drainage designs and layouts for complete systems and components of a project. Assignments typically involve design elements for which there may be no clearly established precedents and require anticipation of problems at the outset in order to provide appropriate solutions.</li><li>
Ensures compliance with required specification, standards, tolerances, safety factors and client requirements.</li><li>
Checks orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others. May provide direction to a team of checking personal, ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings produced.</li><li>
Performs specialized design computations and analysis within the discipline.</li><li>
Performs 1D/2D hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM and following a modelling protocol.</li><li>
Conducts 3D clash checks related to hydraulic designs and models.</li><li>
Prepares drainage detailed design reports and model build reports.</li><li>
Collaborates with Drainage Engineers and other engineering disciplines to ensure quality of design.</li><li>
Assists in training lower-level designers in various procedures.</li><li>

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li>
Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum ten (10) years of hands-on work experience in the field of storm water drainage design and hydraulic analysis and modeling.</li><li>
Must have experience with drainage software related to roadways / civil projects.</li><li>
Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.</li><li>
Experience in 1D and 2D hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM.</li><li>
Experience in both gravity and pressurized drainage system designs.</li><li>
Experience in using GIS softwares (e.g. ArcGIS and QGIS).</li><li>
Experience in 3D clash analysis.</li><li>
GCC and Qatar experience is an advantage.</li><li>
Has proven technical knowledge of specific subject areas pertaining drainage and hydraulic works and proven ability to use relevant software.</li><li>
Must be familiar with International Codes (AASHTO and BS etc.).</li><li>

As a Principal Engineer you will be rendering end to end Hydraulic Modelling and allied engineering services for Storm, River and Waste Water systems. The role involves coordination with design engineers and peergroups across India and New Zealand while reporting to Head of Department in India. You would be expected to act as the go-to technical expert with proven hands-on expertise in <b>TuFlow </b>. Additional expertise in Autodesk Innovyze ICM will be preferred. An ideal candidate would be able to extend technical coaching, mentoring, guidance to team members and give sound technical advice to project teams.</p></div>

uitable candidate for this role is an emerging technical professional in Surface Water Modelling. You will be rendering end to end Hydraulic and Hydrological Modelling and allied engineering services for Surface Water systems. The role involves coordination with design engineers and peergroups across India and Australia while reporting to Head of Department in India. Your proven hands-on expertise in TuFlow, RORB and GIS will be critical to success in this role. Additional expertise in Autodesk Innovyze ICM will be preferred. An ideal candidate would be an young professional with prior exposure to international markets and seeking career advancement in core technical domains.
R</p><div>esponsibilities
&bull;<br>
<ul><li>pply hydraulic principles for River, Storm and Waste Water infrastructure planning, including stormwater networks, culverts, bridges as well as open channel and 2D surface flows.
&bull;</li><li>evelop hydraulic models, interpret outputs and leverage understanding of urban hydrology for infrastructure planning.
&bull;</li><li>se Innovyze ICM and/or Tuflow software to build, update or test options/scenarios for river and/or stormwater systems. This includes model schematisation, assessment of model inputs and gap analysis, model build, validation and calibration, system performance assessment, and floodplain and hazard mapping.
&bull;</li><li>erform hydrological modelling using RORB, XPRAFTS or similar tools (highly desirable).
&bull;</li><li>nterpret and manipulate geospatial datasets using ArcGIS or QGIS and post-process modelling results to develop GIS based mapping outputs.
&bull;</li><li>ranslate modelling assessments into clear, concise technical reports and presentations at high levels of professional and technical calibre suitable for presenting to clients.
&bull;</li><li>nsure model accuracy based on available information across Model Build, Demand Analysis &amp; Allocation, Calibration and Masterplanning
