Scheduling:<ul><li>
Flexible scheduling with 10-hour night shifts M-F and 11.5 hour night shifts on Saturday and Sunday.</li></ul>
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Nocturnist covers the ICU overnight and supervises the residents&rsquo; admissions to the floor. Intensivists are available telephonically overnight. Central line &amp; airways skills are desired, although back-up is available.</li><li>

St David&rsquo;s Medical Center is a comprehensive stroke center and referral center for neurosurgery and neurovascular. We have a 24-bed med/surg ICU with a 16 bed Neurocritical Care Unit.</li><li>
We have excellent relationships with consulting services like IR, Neurology, Anesthesia, and Cardiology.</li><li>
VV ECMO program</li><li>

Experience working with advanced heart failure patients, VA/VV ECMO, and LVAD. Preferably 2-3 years of practicing experience as a BC Intensivist.</li><li>

Day shifts only with minimal call from home when working at Heart Hospital. 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule.</li></ul>
