<br><b>JOB SUMMARY:</b> The Kansas City Chiefs are in search of a Photography Coordinator and Archivist who is creative, driven, and will create content, and help manage seasonal assistant. As well as edit and maintain all current and previous photo assets within the Kansas City Chiefs photography archive. The qualified candidate will be able to successfully manage multiple time-sensitive projects. <b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b><br>

<li>Work directly with the Kansas City Chiefs Creative departments to capture, edit and store images of practices, gamedays, community events, etc. by compiling images, inputting metadata, and publishing to website CMS.</li>
<li>Print in house or help with ordering, selling, and organizing images for various departments within the Chiefs organization.</li>
<li>Contribute to structure, management, and upkeep of the Kansas City Chiefs photography archive.</li>

<div>Two (2) years of experience in digitizing and handling archival materials and/or rare books. Knowledge of metadata standards such as Dublin Core, MODS, METS, etc. Working knowledge of archival and/or digital content management systems such as ArchivesSpace, Archivist&rsquo;s Toolkit, CONTENTdm, and Islandora.</div>

<div><div><b>Preferred Experience</b></div>
<div>Project management experience. Experience writing and administering grants. Experience with arrangement and description of archival materials. Familiarity with markup programming languages. Knowledge of Texas and Mexican history. Experience in digital exhibition design and/or digital humanities.</div>

<div>Use of standard office equipment. Knowledge of how to use scanners and software to save the created images. Knowledge of creating and maintaining web pages.</div>

<div>Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office Environment. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.</div>
