This is a full-time position ideal for an individual with a strong passion for animal welfare and a keen eye for cleanliness and order. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care of our animals and the comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for both animals and staff. Responsibilities  <ul><li>Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and behaviour.</li><li>Conduct thorough and regular cleaning of animal enclosures, common areas, and associated facilities to the highest standards of hygiene.</li><li>Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the facility is in good repair and operates efficiently.</li><li>Observe animals closely for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the management team promptly.</li><li>Handle animals in a calm, compassionate, and safe manner.</li><li>Manage the disposal of waste in accordance with health and safety protocols.</li><li>Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies, animal feed, and other essential equipment.</li><li>Adhere strictly to all company policies and animal welfare standards.</li></ul>Qualifications  <ul><li>Proven experience in an animal care or a professional cleaning/maintenance role is highly desirable.</li><li>A genuine passion for working with animals and a commitment to their welfare.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, particularly in relation to cleanliness and animal health.</li><li>Physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.</li><li>Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and a trustworthy team player.</li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.</li><li>A basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a working environment.</li></ul>
