<div>Position Type: Independent Contractor (minimum 10 hours/wk)
Purpose: 
This Agreement establishes the terms under which Intercommunity Action (Interact) engages the licensed psychiatrist at Interact&rsquo;s licensed Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. The contractor is engaged as an independent contractor, not as an Interact employee.
Scope of Services:
The Contractor shall provide services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, Interact policies, and professional standards, including:<ul><li>
Provide administrative and clinical leadership and consultation to the psychiatric outpatient clinic.</li><li>
Provide direct consultation and collaboration with CRNPs per the collaborative agreement(s).</li><li>
Participate in treatment planning and provide psychiatric consultation as needed.</li><li>
Maintain availability for psychiatric oversight of prescribing and client care in accordance with program requirements.</li><li>
Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical policies, protocols, and quality standards.</li><li>
Conduct chart reviews and ensure timely documentation in Interact&rsquo;s Electronic Health Record (EHR).</li><li>
Provide consultation during compliance reviews, audits, or investigations.</li><li>
Complete all required trainings.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
MD/DO with active license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.</li><li>
Board Certified in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology &ndash; ABPN).</li><li>
Completed residency in General Psychiatry; Child &amp; Adolescent Psychiatry experience preferred.</li><li>
Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.</li><li>
Clearances in accordance with PA Acts 33 &amp; 80.</li><li>
Proficiency with EHR for charting/prescribing.</li></ul>
