The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of current trends, and a willingness to learn. As an intern, you will assist in creating new collections, improving existing designs, and contributing to the overall design process. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work closely with experienced designers in a dynamic and creative environment.Roles and Responsibility<ul><li>Work with the production team to ensure designs are practical and can be made using current manufacturing processes.</li><li>Help come up with new furniture design ideas and work with senior designers to refine and improve them. This includes making rough sketches.</li><li>Use design software (like CAD) to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of furniture designs for prototyping.</li><li>Help build and test prototypes to check if the design works well and is comfortable, then provide feedback for improvements.</li><li>Research and choose the right materials, fabrics, and finishes for furniture, making sure they meet design and quality standards.</li><li>Keep track of the latest trends in furniture design, materials, and technology to keep designs fresh and up-to-date.</li><li>Assist in preparing design presentations, including visuals, prototypes, and documentation to clearly communicate ideas to clients.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.</li><li>Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, SolidWorks, etc.).</li><li>Creative, with the ability to think outside the box and contribute to innovative design concepts.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, especially when preparing technical drawings.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Interest in learning about materials, production processes, and design trends.</li><li>Good multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and tasks.</li><li>Previous experience or internships in design or furniture-related fields are a plus, but not required.</li></ul>Job Type: Internship Contract length: 6 monthsPay: ₹4,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
