As an Equipment Operator/Maintenance, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials, refuse of various forms through Reworld&rsquo; s industrial disposal process and maintenance of the equipment.</p><p></p><p><b>

As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of the back ash area and associated equipment within Reworld&rsquo;s industrial disposal process. This role combines equipment monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, and daily operational support to ensure reliable facility performance.</p><p></p><p>

About the role</b></p><p></p><p>
As an <b>Equipment Operator</b>, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld&rsquo;s industrial disposal process.</p><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Position Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li>
Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools</li><li>
Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers, as necessary</li><li>
Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor</li><li>
Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas</li><li>
Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes: litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention</li><li>
Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic</li><li>
Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs</li><li>

About the role</b></p><p></p><p>
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.</p><p></p><p><b>
Position Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Operate and inspect forklifts, roll off truck, yard truck, excavator, loaders and skid steer.</li><li>
Involves treating and blending waste using large material handling equipment.</li><li>
Manage the safe operation of the site&rsquo;s equipment in the assigned areas.</li><li>
Conduct daily motorized machinery inspections on the site&rsquo;s equipment.</li><li>
Complete additional duties as assigned by management including plant operations</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Two years&rsquo; experience in the operation of excavator and/or mechanical equipment.</li><li>
Excellent verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.</li><li>
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.</li><li>
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.</li><li>
Ability to take appropriate safe action on their own initiative to prevent equipment damage or injury to personnel during emergencies or unusual situations.</li><li>
Requires Respirator Fit test and wearing PPE on a daily basis.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
