   Senior HVAC Technician
  </strong>

   commercial and industrial HVAC systems

  &nbsp;to join a growing facilities and maintenance team. This role is responsible for

   installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment
  </strong>
  , while ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet operational standards.

  The ideal candidate will bring

   hands-on technical expertise, EPA Universal certification, and the ability to work independently
  </strong>
  &nbsp;while also leading or supporting other technicians when needed. This position offers an opportunity to work on

   Key Responsibilities
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair
   <strong>
    commercial and industrial HVAC systems
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Inspect HVAC systems and components to ensure
   <strong>
    compliance with specifications and operational standards
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Diagnose and repair issues involving
   <strong>
    compressors, motors, pumps, fans, valves, switches, and control systems
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Start, test, and monitor HVAC equipment to ensure
   <strong>
    optimal system performance
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Operate and monitor
   <strong>
    Energy Management Systems (EMS)
   </strong>
   &nbsp;and respond to alarms or system irregularities
  </li>
  <li>
   Investigate and resolve
   <strong>
    temperature and airflow issues
   </strong>
   &nbsp;within building environments
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform
   <strong>
    preventive maintenance and scheduled service
   </strong>
   &nbsp;on HVAC equipment
  </li>
  <li>
   Install and repair
   <strong>
    ductwork, piping, and sheet metal components
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Use
   <strong>
    refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, gauges, and charging systems
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform
   <strong>
    pipe cutting, threading, welding, brazing, and component installation
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain accurate
   <strong>
    service logs, maintenance records, and operational documentation
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and maintain
   <strong>
    tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Support job planning including
   <strong>
    estimating, layout, and scheduling of HVAC work
   </strong>
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain clean and organized work areas and mechanical spaces
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in
   <strong>
    training and continuing education
   </strong>
   &nbsp;related to HVAC technologies and system design
   <br/>
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>

  Required Skills / Education

  Education
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   High School Diploma or equivalent required
  </li>
  <li>
   Completion of a certified HVAC technical training program&nbsp;preferred
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>
 <strong>
  Experience
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   10+ years of experience&nbsp;in commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance, installation, and repair
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated experience with HVAC controls including pneumatic and Direct Digital Controls (DDC)
  </li>
  <li>
   Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience interpreting HVAC blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
  </li>
 </ul>
 <strong>
  Certifications &amp; Licenses
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   EPA 608 Universal Certification (Types I, II, III)
  </li>
  <li>
   Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification
  </li>
  <li>
   Valid driver&rsquo;s license
  </li>
  <li>
   Forklift and aerial lift certification&nbsp;or ability to obtain
   <br/>
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>
 <strong>
  Technical Skills
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Strong knowledge of HVAC system components and troubleshooting techniques
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience operating refrigerant recovery equipment and diagnostic tools
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to perform sheet metal fabrication, duct installation, and pipe fitting
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with Energy Management Systems (EMS)&nbsp;monitoring and troubleshooting
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

 </ul>

  Additional Qualifications
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety procedures, and system diagrams
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong written and verbal communication skills
  </li>

   Ability to complete service documentation and maintenance reports accurately
  </li>
  <li>
   Basic math skills including ratios, measurements, and system calculations
  </li>
