We are looking for an overnight postpartum doula (10PM-6AM) to provide newborn care in the client's home. We open to PART TIME but FULL TIME would be best. We work with families for an average of 3-4 months but contracts vary between 16 nights to &ldquo;sleeping through the night/5-6 months.&rdquo; We are awake through the night helping the new family with infant care and household support. We of course want you to sit and take a break once all chores are completed and baby is sleeping safely in the bassinet, but this is not a job where you &quot;sleep while baby sleeps.&quot; We can keep your work consistent so you have a consistent income and we can work around your schedule. Overview At Slumber Support RN, our primary goal is to provide excellent overnight newborn care so that new parents can rest peacefully. Location of services are in the clients homes and will vary per contract. 8- 12 hours per nightSlumber Support RN (&ldquo;Contractor&rdquo;) provides non-medical, non-emergency overnight infant care services for infants from birth through twelve (12) months of age (&ldquo;Services&rdquo;). These Services are intended solely to support routine nighttime infant care and parental rest and do not constitute medical, nursing, diagnostic, or emergency care.Slumber Support RN does not provide emergency services and shall not be relied upon as a substitute for medical providers or emergency responders. In the event of a medical emergency, the Client is responsible for contacting their pediatrician, obstetric provider, or emergency services (911).
