The <b>Crime Analyst</b> position serves to improve decision making and proactive law enforcement statewide by collecting, analyzing, storing and disseminating criminal intelligence information that is associated with identifiable individuals, groups, organizations or events that are known or suspected to relate to the investigation of major criminal conspiracies, projections about criminal operations or the production of estimates regarding future major criminal activities (MCA 44-5-103).</p><p>
This employee will systematically gather, evaluate, organize, assemble, retain and report information for the purpose of detecting and identifying criminal activities, trends, entities, participants and methods. The work involves conducting research, analyzing raw data, uncovering new sources of information, identifying patterns of criminal activity and developing links between criminals and crime groups who may be involved in a diverse, sustained array of criminal conduct or offenses that cross jurisdictional boundaries. The employee will communicate with others, review their work for general compliance with pre-established standards, present results and write summaries and reports. About the opportunity
<br>The Sr. Configuration Systems Analyst (DevOps) is responsible for providing Configuration Management, Incident Management, and Infrastructure support for Dayforce solutions supporting U.S. Public Sector (GUSA) initiatives.
<br>This role plays an important part in maintaining and supporting Dayforce environments while also identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and tooling. The analyst will collaborate with Development, Support, Services, and Technology teams to support the Dayforce software lifecycle while helping drive improvements to infrastructure management.
<br>The ideal candidate is a DevOps-oriented engineer who combines strong operational knowledge with hands-on development capabilities and a passion for automation-first solutions.

<li>Configuration Management</li>
<li>Set up and manage Dayforce environments across multiple data centers.</li>
<li>Plan and coordinate infrastructure requirements for major releases, including server builds and resource capacity planning (CPU, memory, disk, OS).</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to configuration management processes, operational standards, and escalation procedures.</li>
<li>Support the Services team with Dayforce hosting configuration, including SFTP setup, access management, and automation tools.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation for platform architecture, configurations, and operational procedures, including reviewing knowledge articles for publication.</li>
<li>Automation & DevOps Support</li>
<li>Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines) to standardize provisioning and configuration management.</li>
<li>Develop internal automation tools and reusable frameworks to reduce manual operational tasks.</li>
<li>Contribute scripts, tooling, and automation components to shared repositories following source control best practices.</li>
<li>Identify systemic inefficiencies and engineer scalable automation solutions.</li>
<li>Promote an automation-first mindset across the Configuration Management and Infrastructure teams.</li>
<li>Incident Management</li>
<li>Support internal Dayforce users and customers within established SLAs, including troubleshooting, backfills, upgrades, access management, and environment setup.</li>
<li>Analyze, prioritize, and resolve incidents while ensuring adherence to incident management and escalation procedures.</li>
<li>Assist analysts with ticket triage and provide technical guidance for complex issues.</li>
<li>Promote the use of automation tools and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce manual support requests.</li>
<li>Act as a technical escalation point and collaborate with Support, Development, and Cloud Hosting teams to resolve incidents and implement long-term solutions.</li>
<li>Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems, including the potential for after-hours or weekend work as required.</li>
<li>Infrastructure Support</li>
<li>Respond to and investigate alerts generated by monitoring systems, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for recurring issues.</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance to analysts during complex troubleshooting and major incident scenarios.</li>
<li>Recommend and implement improvements to monitoring, alerting, and operational practices to reduce noise and improve system reliability.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Development and Technology teams to address infrastructure issues, including disk space management, backups, patching, and server performance.</li>
<li>Proactively identify operational risks or process disruptions and recommend improvements such as capacity planning, automation opportunities, and infrastructure optimizations.</li>
