Overview</div><div>
The Project Coordinator II provides competent coordination, management, and facilitation of various infrastructure and construction projects across the City. Responsible for facilitating and ensuring permitting, plan review, accurate documentation, and competent customer service.</div><div>
Essential Functions</div><div>
1 Performs project coordination, oversees permitting processes, and maintains open communications for various infrastructure and related construction projects occurring within the City; facilitates communication and collaboration between the departments, contractors, and other project personnel; conducts and facilitates meetings to address problems, open discussion, and encourage successful project implementation.</div><div>
2 Facilitates and oversees the successful delivery of accurate building inspection review and permitting process; leads and supervises plans examiners and demonstrates knowledge in many field including engineering, zoning, permitting, and others.</div><div>
3 Participates in team review meetings that review multi-million-dollar utility infrastructure projects; answers questions, identifies roadblocks to project success, and makes requests for testing and other documentation to be completed; coordinates various testing and evaluation prior to project implementation to ensure uninterrupted services.</div><div>
4 Provide guidelines for project reviews by setting schedules and expectations of staff; meets with assigned staff daily and weekly on project issues that may arise; trains and provides direction on challenging or complex coordination issues; responds to inquiries regarding contract procedures or status of current projects and works with staff to maintain strong communication between all parties.</div><div>
5 Reviews plans and plats for zoning compliance; verifies the plan zoning, research previous plans, analyzes plans against ordinances and ensures appropriate approvals; supervises the issuance and administration of permits in accordance with approved associated plans; coordinates and processes backflow agreements, covenants, easements, and fire flow tests as needed or required.</div><div>
6 Reviews, evaluates, and ensures contract compliance with all City standards for private development contracts; manages insurance documents and other related forms are submitted and up to date; checks that all contract values match scope of engineering plans; evaluates contracts for water/wastewater contracts, paving or drainage contracts, and other infrastructure related contracts.</div><div>
7 Manages work sites ensuring effective workflow and communication between all departments, contractors, private developers, and citizens; ensures the sites are safe and all personnel are effectively applying safety standards; prepares timeline for projects and assists in overall management of the project specifics.</div><div>
8 Attends various meetings to discuss construction related issues, concerns of project implementation, layout of new utilities and infrastructure, and to ensure collaboration and effective project coordination between all necessary parties.</div><div>

The successful candidate will act as the key link between design consultants, project managers, and site execution teams, ensuring all architectural and BIM deliverables are fully coordinated, compliant with local regulations, and delivered on schedule.</p><p>The role requires strong expertise in BIM environments, local authority approval processes, and interdisciplinary coordination within building and infrastructure projects.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate architectural BIM models with structural, MEP, and civil disciplines.</li><li>Ensure all design deliverables comply with project specifications, UAE/GCC regulations, and authority requirements.</li><li>Manage and review architectural shop drawings and ensure accuracy prior to submission.</li><li>Prepare and evaluate material submittals in line with project standards.</li><li>Maintain and track Request for Information (RFI) logs.</li><li>Resolve interdisciplinary clashes using BIM tools (Revit).</li><li>Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities.</li><li>Handle authority submissions and approvals including Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and SIRA.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation control and adherence to QA/QC procedures.</li><li>Support project teams throughout design development to final handover.</li></ul><p><b>Technical Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Strong proficiency in <b>Revit (BIM environment)</b> and <b>AutoCAD</b>.</li><li>Experience in architectural shop drawing preparation and review.</li><li>Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes in Dubai.</li><li>Understanding of UAE/GCC building codes and standards.</li><li>Familiarity with document control systems and project management software.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint).</li><li>Strong understanding of construction methodology and site execution.</li><li>Ability to review contract documentation and specifications.</li></ul><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong coordination and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Leadership and team collaboration skills.</li><li>Proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated.</li></ul><p><b>Language Requirements</b></p><ul><li><b>English:</b> Fluent (Mandatory)</li><li><b>Arabic:</b> Advantageous</li></ul><p>If you are a proactive professional with strong BIM coordination experience in building and infrastructure projects within the UAE, we encourage you to apply by submitting your CV and portfolio. <b>On WhatsApp : +971564464212. </b></p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p>
