SUMMARY: Drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical support in the NPI process, and effectively articulating the value of our products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring timely communication, high satisfaction, and continued business growth.</li><li>
Develop a deep understanding of flexible packaging materials, specifications, and medical industry requirements (e.g., ISO 11607, FDA regulations) to effectively support and advise customers.</li><li>
Interpret customer drawings, technical specifications, and performance requirements, and communicate these effectively to internal team members, including Engineering, Quality, and Production.</li><li>
Translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>
Conduct consultative needs assessments with current and prospective customers to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate packaging solutions.</li><li>
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, prepare detailed quotes and proposals, manage order entry, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time and in-spec delivery.</li><li>
Support the sales team by providing technical information, preparing proposals, and collaborating on pricing and contract strategies in coordination with senior leadership.</li><li>
Monitor inbound inquiries (e.g., from website or marketing campaigns) and follow up to qualify leads and identify potential sales opportunities.</li><li>
Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts and support efforts to win new business, including upselling and cross-selling solutions.</li><li>
Provide pre- and post-sale technical support and troubleshooting assistance, acting as a liaison between the customer and internal departments.</li><li>
Provide product training and technical onboarding for both customers and internal team members, ensuring thorough understanding of product features, performance, and compliance.</li><li>
Gather customer feedback and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to enhance current products and inform the development of new solutions.</li><li>
Participate in customer audits and technical meetings as needed, representing the company&rsquo;s capabilities and commitment to quality.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of customer communications, quotes, and orders in the company&rsquo;s CRM and ERP systems.</li><li>
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the medical packaging space to provide informed recommendations.</li><li>
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>
