<div><div>The <b>Department of Chemistry</b> in the <b>College of Arts and Sciences</b> seeks an <b>Instructional Lab Coordinator Senior</b> to manage and support the organic chemistry teaching labs.<br>

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</div><ul>
<li> ensuring that teaching laboratories in the Chemistry Department meet the needs of the instructors and students involved with these courses</li>
<li> coordinating with department administration and instructors of these courses for the preparation of solutions and experiments, re-stocking supplies</li>
<li> maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of instrumentation including IRs, GCs, hot plates, melting point machines, balances, autoclave, dishwashers, etc.</li>
<li> training teaching assistants (TAs) regarding laboratory operations preceding, during, and following labs</li>
<li> ensuring waste disposal for organic chemistry teaching labs following appropriate guidelines, working with the College level safety personnel and EHS to determine proper methods of compliance</li>
<li> maintaining a safe environment in the teaching labs and other areas including storage of compressed gasses and cryogens</li>
<li> managing the third-floor prep lab, dry storage area, and solvent room</li>
<li> managing the chemical inventory database</li>
<li> preparing, developing, and coordinating chemical demonstrations in support of classroom instruction</li>

Instructional Lab Coordinator Senior

<p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Under general supervision of the Director of Online Operations, the Instructional Designer (ID) serves as an innovative resource providing consultation, training, and support to subject matter experts (SMEs) in their efforts to create and maintain instructional components to be delivered within an interactive online learning environment.</div><div>
The ID provides expertise and knowledge on various pedagogical approaches and effective practices to support course delivery. The ID will follow the course development processes at New England College (NEC) which includes alignment of outcomes, assessments and activities, and assists SMEs in the completion of a course blueprint. Aligning the course to a course quality rubric, providing feedback, and building the course in the learning management system are required.</div></div>

<ul><li>Apply instructional design theories, practice, and methods in the course development and redevelopment processes.</li>
<li>Design and build quality courses in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) within contractual time.</li>
<li>Maintain the flow of tasks and monitor due date timelines for SMEs to complete course development projects.</li>
<li>Collaborate with SMEs to develop an integration table and blueprint for the course.</li>
<li>Align a course quality design rubric to new course development and provide constructive and supportive feedback to SMEs.</li>
<li>Provide faculty training as appropriate.</li>
<li>Monitor developments in andragogy, and effective practices in online curriculum design and delivery.</li>

<p><b>Academic Coordinator &ndash; Middle School (Grades 6&ndash;8)</b></p><p><b>Location:</b> Kiran Foundation, DCTO Campus<br/><b>Job Type:</b> Full-Time</p><p><b>Position Overview</b></p><p>We are seeking a passionate and experienced <b>Academic Coordinator &ndash; Middle School (6-8)</b> to lead academic planning and ensure strong Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) alignment for Grades 6&ndash;8. The ideal candidate will be an instructional leader who fosters innovation, supports teachers, and promotes a holistic learning environment focused on academic excellence and character development.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead academic planning and curriculum implementation for Grades 6&ndash;8</li><li>Ensure strong alignment of teaching practices with Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)</li><li>Mentor and support Home Facilitators and Subject Teachers</li><li>Drive Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Thematic Learning approaches</li><li>Monitor academic standards, assessments, and student progress</li><li>Analyze performance data to improve instructional strategies</li><li>Promote character building, leadership development, and 21st-century skills</li><li>Maintain a positive, collaborative, and growth-focused academic culture</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Education or a relevant field</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of academic leadership or coordination experience</li><li>Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment frameworks</li><li>Experience with Project-Based and student-centered learning approaches</li><li>Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills</li><li>Ability to analyze academic data and drive improvement initiatives</li></ul><p><b>What We Offer</b></p><ul><li>Professional growth and leadership opportunities</li><li>Collaborative and innovative work environment</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><ul><li>Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
