Job Description :
Summary
Ryder is looking for an Instructional Designer I to join our Talent Management Team. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor primarily responsible for designing and developing highly impactful learning solutions. You will design and develop eLearning courses and training documents to support an enterprise-wide audience at Ryder.
Essential Functions
<ul><li>Design, build and deliver as needed instructionally sound eLearning and other educational resources (video, microlearning, QRGs)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Works independently or with guidance from Leadership to design, develop, and support learning programs as assigned</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop course outlines and all course related documents (scripts) throughout the design/development phases</li></ul>
<ul><li>Apply effective learning methodologies to analyze and evaluate the integrity and audience appropriateness of instructional approach, materials and intended delivery methodology</li></ul>
<ul><li>Design engaging learning activities that aligns with Ryder&rsquo;s goals, operating principles and competencies</li></ul>
<ul><li>Design using creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches; develop storyboards for e-learning and videos</li></ul>
<ul><li>Utilize virtual and web-based solutions (tools; resources) fostering the development of online based learning programs. (Storyline, RISE, etc.)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to bring expertise to design, develop and implement courses and other instructional resources.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Establishes, influences, and communicates guidelines and recommendations for process and procedure related to instructional design, content development, and project management</li></ul>
Additional Responsibilities
<ul><li>Keeps abreast of new and developing trends in training and adult learning and applies them to Learning Design initiatives</li></ul>

<ul><li>Demonstrates a high commitment to quality</li></ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Instructional Design, Business, Education, Communications or related field</li></ul>
<ul><li>1+ years of professional instructional design</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in Camtasia</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite &ndash; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in Adobe Creative Suite &ndash; Illustrator, Photoshop</li></ul>
Candidates for Consideration
<ul><li>Will need to provide samples that demonstrate proficiency of Articulate 360 (Storyline)</li></ul>

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate&rsquo;s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Minimum Pay Range:
$65,000.00
Maximum Pay Range:
$85,000.00
