 Job Duties
 
 
 
 Your daily duties will include a mix of:

 Critically evaluating content and assessments written by freelance SMEs/writers and bringing materials in line with established standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring content conforms to supplied templates (file formatting, order of content)
 </li>
 <li>
 Writing new content as needed, including writing summaries and writing/rewriting questions
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing select projects, including communicating directly with the customer, monitoring/managing costs, and keeping the project on schedule

Position Summary

Columbia's Center for Teaching &amp; Learning is now accepting applications for an Assistant Director in its Graduate Student Programs and Services group. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) partners with faculty, students, and colleagues across the University to support excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. The CTL is committed to advancing the culture of teaching and learning at Columbia through all of its programs, services, and resources.

Reporting to the Director, Graduate Student Programs and Services, the Assistant Director will support professional development and improve the effectiveness of Teaching Assistants, Teaching Fellows, other graduate student instructors at Columbia, and postdocs by providing pedagogical programs, consultations, and resources.

Responsibilities

This salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000.
This position is classified as remote but is tied to our New York, NY office located at 120 Broadway. Employment is subject to New York State tax withholding under applicable regulations.
