Job OverviewThe Illinois Works (ILW), Instructor has a vital role in educating and guiding program participants. Specifically, the ILW Instructor will be responsible for delivering occupational skills training, as well as developing curriculum and lead instruction for construction industry courses, such as NCCER Core Construction and OSHA-10, providing delivery and coordination of classroom, hands-on, and worksite training, in the areas of employability skills, construction math and mechanical aptitude training/tutoring.  Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and develop appropriate training programs including but not limited to externally accredited Diploma &amp; Certificated courses.

 Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Minimum bachelor&rsquo;s degree in chemical engineering/Process Technology/Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 7 years' work experience of which a minimum of 3 years preferably in developing, conducting, and administering training programs for Oil Refineries or large Process Industries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certified Assessor / Internal Verifier for Competency Based Assessment is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Should be trained as a technical instructor with the ability to deliver general plant and process engineering learning modules such as corrosion, industrial safety process, product optimization, forecasting, and familiar with engineering simulation software applied for process, mechanical and instrumentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work experience in Oil &amp; Gas Industry, preferably petroleum refining.
 </li>
 <li>
 A good understanding of learning management systems is beneficial.

Instructor Operations

Functions as Instructor for English Language Training. Responsible for developing lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the needs of individual students and groups. Assessing students' language abilities and tailoring instruction to meet their needs.</div>
Responsibilities:
